About SSRV

SSRV (M) Sdn Bhd is a leading integrated property and facilities management service provider in Malaysia. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Civil Technician to support our facilities management operations at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, ensuring the building and its facilities are well maintained, safe and fully functional.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of building structures, walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows and other civil-related facilities.
• Perform minor civil repair works, including patching, plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry and other general building maintenance tasks.
• Attend to maintenance complaints, defects and breakdowns, ensuring timely rectification and minimal disruption to building operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential defects or deterioration requiring corrective action.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and ensure all assigned tasks are completed according to the required service standards.
• Assist in coordinating contractors and external service providers for specialised repair works and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with site procedures and occupational safety requirements.
• Maintain proper records of completed maintenance works, inspection findings, materials used and outstanding defects.
• Support the facilities management team in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, safety and overall condition of the building.
• Perform other civil maintenance and facilities-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or Facilities Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Civil Technician, Building Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Practical skills in civil works, building repairs and general maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance procedures, tools, materials and workplace safety.
• Able to troubleshoot defects and carry out repair works independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, proactive, hands-on and able to work effectively as part of a facilities management team.
• Candidates who are able to join immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
