岗位职责

  • Job Functions:
  • To be responsible for the cleanliness of the Home with the daily chores and ensures safety and well-being of the residents.

Housekeeping Function

Dormitories

  • To make the bedding daily and change the bed sheets and pillow covers weekly and arrange the furniture neatly.
  • To sweep and mop the floor daily and place signage to caution passers-by.
  • To wipe the fans and windows weekly.
  • To remove clutter and maintain dormitory cleanliness.
  • Kitchen and Dining Area.
  • To sweep and mop the floor daily and place signage to caution passer-by.
  • To dispose waste neatly to ensure cleanliness of the area.
  • To prepare for the residents and ensure proper storage.

Washrooms

  • To wash daily and place signage to caution passer-by.
  • To do laundry cleaning and ironing.

Other Functions

  • To report on facility matters that require attention e.g. pipe blockage, faulty pipe, etc.
  • To assist in other areas as assigned by the Head of Home.
  • To execute duties in accordance to Environmental Sanitation Regime (ESR) requirements.
  • To be trained and attain competency in Environmental Sanitation Regime (ESR) requirements.
  • Equipped with the necessary equipment/tools and cleaning agents and disinfectants to clean and disinfect the surfaces of listed inventory of areas.
  • To ensure toilet paper, liquid hand soap, paper towel/hand dryer are available at all times.
  • To practice2-cloth table-top cleaning and tablecloths are washed regularly, and water in pail for rinsing cloth is changed regularly.
  • To ensure premises and areas are well-kept and maintained to ensure no mosquito breeding or harborage of other vectors.
  • To ensure high-touch surfaces areas require more frequency cleaning and disinfection than minimal contact surfaces. Cleaning and disinfection should be performed at least daily.
