The Production Manager is responsible for leading, managing and controlling the overall production operations to ensure all jobs and projects are completed safely, efficiently, cost-effectively and according to the required quality standards and customer delivery schedules.
The position requires strong leadership, planning and technical knowledge in thermoplastic engineering, fabrication, assembly and CNC operations, while ensuring continuous improvement in productivity, quality, manpower utilization and operational efficiency.
Job Scope & Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and supervise the overall production team to ensure smooth, efficient and effective operations in achieving the Company’s goals and production targets.
- Plan, schedule, monitor and control production activities to ensure all job orders and projects are completed safely, on time, in full and according to required quality standards and customer specifications.
- Oversee and coordinate all production activities covering thermoplastic fabrication, assembly and CNC operations, including manpower, materials, machinery, tools and production resources.
- Monitor daily production progress, identify bottlenecks or potential delays, and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure production work is carried out according to approved drawings, work instructions, specifications, quality requirements and Company procedures.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Project and other supporting departments to ensure smooth execution of all jobs and projects.
- Plan and conduct regular training and skill development programs to improve technicians’ competency, productivity and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machines and equipment while minimizing production downtime, rework, rejection, scrap and wastage.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, workplace organization and overall production performance.
- Ensure all production personnel comply with Company policies, procedures, safety requirements and discipline standards, and take appropriate action on any non-compliance or disciplinary matters.
- Monitor and evaluate production team performance and establish appropriate KPIs to ensure operational targets are consistently achieved.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety practices, 5S and a safe working environment are maintained throughout the production area.
- Report production performance, issues, manpower requirements, delays and other significant matters to the General Manager / Management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager / Management from time to time.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
