A leading FMCG is seeking a Regional Head of Finance. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to shape financial strategy across multiple business units, ensuring robust stewardship, compliance, and actionable insight that drives sustainable performance.

What You'll Do

As Regional Head of Finance you will play a central role in shaping financial strategy across multiple business units.

• Oversee delivery of agreed annual Net Sales, EBITDA and Free Cash Flow targets for the businesses while contributing to broader regional financial objectives through timely insight on performance, risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
• Own the forecasting process by balancing risks and opportunities and leading finance contributions to Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan cycles with clear alignment of assumptions.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity by conducting rigorous account reviews, reconciliations and validations to ensure accounting balances are accurate, appropriately supported and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Identify statutory, tax and regulatory compliance gaps across relevant business units; coordinate timely remediation efforts while ensuring exposures are properly assessed, provided for and reported.
• Drive working-capital improvement initiatives including cost optimisation, productivity enhancements, expansion of receivables-financing opportunities and simplification of finance processes and reporting.
• Improve finance governance by harmonising accounting treatments across business units, strengthening approval processes and aligning marketing as well as trade-spend governance with regional standards.
• Build finance team capability through supportive leadership by developing effectiveness, supporting major transformation initiatives and maintaining succession as well as retention plans for critical talent.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple markets to ensure consistent application of financial controls and facilitate knowledge sharing within the network.
• Champion process standardisation in finance reporting and analysis to enhance transparency, accuracy and efficiency throughout the organisation.
• Support major organisational initiatives by leveraging your expertise in change management to drive ERP-enabled finance transformation projects.
  
  

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for Regional Head of Finance brings extensive experience from senior roles within regional or multi-market environments—preferably in FMCG or consumer goods—where you have demonstrated proficiency in financial control, FP&A and business partnering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required; professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA is highly preferred for this role.
• Significant senior finance experience covering financial control, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and business partnering within a regional or multi-market environment ideally gained in FMCG or consumer goods sectors.
• Experience managing finance teams with supportive leadership style; proven track record collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple markets fostering inclusive teamwork.
• Exceptional analytical skills combined with excellent communication abilities enabling you to provide actionable insight while nurturing inter-personal relationships throughout the organisation.
• Ability to identify compliance gaps proactively coordinating remediation efforts ensuring exposures are properly assessed provided for reported according to regulatory requirements.
• Knowledgeable approach towards working-capital improvement cost optimisation productivity enhancement plus simplification of finance processes reporting.
