Company Overview
Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing advanced Semiconductor equipment.
Job Summary
As a Field Service Engineer (Senior/Maintenance), you will deliver expert technical support by installing, commissioning, and maintaining semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime for customers.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer equipment issues to minimize operational downtime
Install, set up, and commission semiconductor equipment according to specifications
Perform equipment performance checks to verify compliance with required standards
Conduct equipment testing, calibration, and upgrades to maintain optimal functionality
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software faults to resolve issues efficiently
Escalate complex technical problems to engineering teams and track resolution progress
Collaborate with customers to resolve technical challenges and provide effective solutions
Prepare service and troubleshooting reports
Support equipment qualification and acceptance processes to ensure compliance
Coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams to facilitate issue resolution and service delivery
Travel overseas as required to support customer needs and equipment servicing
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma /Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline
2-5 years of experience working with semiconductor equipment, automation, or industrial machinery
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and customer-service skills
