ERP ENGINEER

Job Summary
The ERP Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the Company’s ERP system and related business applications.
The role requires hands-on experience in ERP system support within a business or manufacturing environment, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues, support users, coordinate with vendors and assist in system enhancement and process improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily functional and technical support for the Company’s ERP system.
- Troubleshoot ERP-related issues and coordinate corrective action with users, internal IT and external vendors.
- Support ERP modules related to:
- Production
- Inventory
- Warehouse
- Purchasing
- Planning
- Finance
- Supply Chain
- Analyse user requirements and translate operational needs into suitable ERP system solutions.
- Support system configuration, enhancement, testing and implementation activities.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes and improvements.
- Monitor system performance, data accuracy and transaction integrity.
- Support ERP master data maintenance and ensure proper system controls.
- Prepare and maintain ERP documentation, SOPs, user guides and process flow.
- Support system integration between ERP and other internal or external applications.
- Assist in report generation, data extraction and system-related analysis.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors and consultants on system issues, upgrades and enhancement projects.
- Provide user training and guidance on ERP system usage.
- Support continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives involving ERP systems.
- Ensure ERP-related activities comply with Company IT policies, access controls and data security requirements.
- Perform any other ERP / system-related duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in ERP system support, implementation or application support is required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of ERP-related business processes such as:
- Production Planning
- Material Planning
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Management
- Purchasing
- Supply Chain
- Finance / Costing
- Hands-on experience in ERP troubleshooting, user support, system enhancement and UAT.
- Good knowledge of SQL, database concepts, reporting tools or system integration will be an advantage.
- Able to analyse system issues and provide practical solutions.
- Good communication and coordination skills with users from different departments.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple system-related tasks.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Added Advantage
- Experience or working knowledge of QAD ERP system will be a strong advantage.
- Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing or production environments.
- Experience in ERP implementation, migration or enhancement projects.
- Knowledge of SQL, database management and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting interfaces between ERP and other business systems.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
