Job Overview

As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, campaign execution, and marketing analysis. You will work closely with the team to develop exciting content tailored to local audiences and current market trends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media & Content

• Support content ideation and execution for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and LinkedIn.
• Write engaging captions, short-form copy, and social media posts.
• Monitor trending topics, viral memes, formats, and online conversations.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and video editors to create eye-catching visuals and videos.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the monthly content calendar.

2. Campaign Support

• Brainstorm and support the execution of festive, seasonal campaigns and promotions.
• Prepare campaign materials, timelines, checklists, and operational tasks.
• Assist in running minigames, voucher giveaways, and community engagement activities.

3. KOL/KOC & Community Outreach

• Research and identify suitable KOLs/KOCs aligned with campaign goals.
• Support creator outreach, relationship management, and information updates.
• Track posting schedules, analyze basic performance metrics, and assist with seeding efforts.

4. Trend & Market Research

• Keep up with social media trends across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and Facebook.
• Benchmark competitor communications and adapt creative ideas for bTaskee.
• Summarize simple market insights to propose actionable content ideas.

5. Reporting & Team Support

• Track basic marketing metrics (Reach, Engagement, Views, Clicks, and Conversions).
• Support weekly and monthly performance reporting.
• Assist with ad-hoc marketing tasks assigned by the team.

Requirements

• Education: Final-year student or Fresh Graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field.
• Experience: No full-time experience required! Prior experience in internships, freelance work, student clubs, or managing social media channels is a strong plus.
• Skills:
• Basic understanding and strong interest in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads).
• Creative mindset with an eye for social media trends and viral content.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Languages:
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
• Proficient in English for daily working environment.
• Knowledge of Mandarin or Tamil is an added advantage.
