Civil Engineer

Location: Kuala LumpurJob Type: Full-time / Part-time (subject to confirmation)Salary: Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support civil engineering, construction, and installation projects. The successful candidate will assist with project planning, site coordination, technical documentation, and ensuring that engineering work complies with relevant specifications and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising civil engineering and construction activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality and workmanship.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project team members.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection records, technical documentation, and other project-related reports.
• Identify site issues and assist in resolving technical or construction-related problems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, building regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor project materials, resources, and work schedules.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant civil engineering or construction experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates may be considered, depending on project requirements.
• Ability to read and understand civil engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
• Professional registration or relevant certification is an advantage where required for the role.
