A professional services organisation is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join its growing cybersecurity practice. In this role, you will be at the forefront of protecting enterprise clients' infrastructure — deploying, managing, and optimising Microsoft security solutions across on-premises, IaaS/SaaS, and hybrid environments. ## What You'll Do

- Deploy and maintain: Microsoft security solutions (Sentinel, Defender, MCM) to safeguard client infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.

- Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry regulations and best practices.

- Configure and manage: Microsoft security and infrastructure technologies across on-premises, IaaS/SaaS, and hybrid deployment models.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure system configurations and the secure rollout of new devices and applications.

- Monitor the threat landscape — staying current with emerging vulnerabilities, security trends, and countermeasures, and proactively recommending improvements.

- Support incident response — providing technical guidance and expertise during security incidents and investigations.

- Document security configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain clear and auditable records.

## What You Bring

- Experience: At least 4–7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles.

- Microsoft Expertise:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) for on-premises, IaaS, or hybrid environments.

- Experience managing and implementing Microsoft enterprise management platforms and tools (Sentinel, Defender).

- Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and their security features.

- Frameworks & Standards: Familiarity with NIST, CIS, and their application to endpoint security.

- Scripting: Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.

- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability; strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
