Why This Role Matters
As an Watsons International Online Business Growth Strategist, you will help accelerate e-commerce growth across SEA by identifying new opportunities, driving high-impact initiatives, and turning insights into action. Working across Own Platform, marketplaces, and express marketplaces, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable business growth while putting a smile on customers’ faces through seamless and engaging online shopping experiences. Guided by a scientific and data-driven approach, you will collaborate closely with regional and local teams to unlock growth opportunities across our O+O (Offline + Online) business model.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor regional commercial performance and digital feature ROI, turning data into actionable insights.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking across SEA marketplaces and Own Platform to identify growth opportunities and best practices.
• Support opportunity sizing and business case development for new categories, revenue streams, sales channels, and commercial initiatives.
• Co-create growth plans, playbooks, and scalable frameworks to drive online business performance.
• Collaborate with Business Unit e-commerce teams to execute regional growth strategies across multiple platforms and markets.
• Build and manage key platform partnerships, including joint business plans, exposure commitments, vouchers, and co-funding initiatives.
• Design, coordinate, and evaluate A/B tests and growth experiments to optimize customer and commercial outcomes.
• Consolidate post-campaign reviews, share learnings, and recommend next steps based on data and business performance.
• Champion a customer-focused mindset and support the integration of O+O business opportunities across the region.

What You'll Bring

• Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of FMCG market dynamics and customer behaviour.
• Hands-on experience with major SEA marketplaces and/or Own Platform e-commerce operations.
• A growth mindset with the curiosity and agility to test, learn, and continuously improve.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret dashboards, performance metrics, and trends to drive decisions.
• Confidence working with data and applying a scientific, insight-led approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across regional and local teams as a way of working.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to execute independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
