Hands-on exposure to sea freight, shipping & logistics operations
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, client visits, and other sales initiatives.
Deliver effective and compelling sales pitches to potential customers.
Price & Contract Negotiations
Prepare and present competitive quotations and solutions based on clients’ requirements.
Participate in commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and pricing with clients.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Manage client expectations effectively and address issues professionally to ensure a positive customer experience.
Follow through on post-sales matters and provide effective after-sales support to strengthen client relationships.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
Work closely with Operations, Accounts, Customer Service, and other internal teams to fulfil client requirements and deliver solutions effectively.
Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth service delivery, timely follow-up, and effective resolution of client issues.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior shipping/freight forwarding experience are welcome to apply.
1–2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Committed, proactive and self-motivated.
Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
