About the Roles

Mechanical Engineering Technician role based in Tuas within the Environmental Services sector, offered as a permanent position with company transport provided. This role follows a 5.5-day work schedule, with weekday hours from 8AM–5PM and Saturday half-day, or rotating shift arrangements (Day: 8AM–8PM, Night: 8PM–8AM). The position comes with a competitive remuneration package including basic salary, OT, transport allowance, retention bonus, AWS, and quarterly incentive, offering strong overall earning potential and stability.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities for plant equipment in line with established procedures
• Carry out inspection, fault diagnosis, and corrective repairs to restore equipment performance
• Perform maintenance and overhauls on fans, blowers, pumps, motors, and other rotating/mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records, including history cards, checklists, and maintenance logs
• Document daily maintenance work clearly in logbooks and operational records
• Support equipment installation activities and conduct checks to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Contribute to reducing breakdowns and downtime through timely troubleshooting and effective resolution of issues
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support plant operations

What We’re Looking For

• NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a Process Plant environment
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and solid technical troubleshooting skills
