We are looking for a meticulous, organized, and adaptable Accounts cum HR Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping, tracking sales and shipping documents, handling basic HR administration, and supporting the management with ad-hoc operational tasks.
Key responsibilities
Maintain general ledgers and handle daily data entry using Million Accounting Software
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
Systematic monthly filing of all financial documents for submission to the corporate accountant
Generate and issue sales invoices and Delivery Orders (DO) using Million and Word
Tally and cross-check all invoices and DOs against sales orders to ensure accurate pricing and quantities
Monitor Debtors (AR): Update incoming receipts and review aging reports to follow up on outstanding customer payments
Monitor Creditors (AP): Verify supplier bills against DOs and manage credit terms to arrange timely payments
Handle, review, and file import/export shipping papers (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Customs Declarations)
Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure shipping paperwork matches accounting records
Maintain accurate records of employee leaves (Annual, MC, Childcare, etc.)
Update monthly salary records and prepare basic payroll information using Excel
Assist directors and bosses with urgent ad-hoc administrative or operational duties as required

Ming Kee Umbrellas Factory Pte Ltd is a premiere company with over 42 years of experience in the umbrellas industry. The company, being founded in Singapore in 1965, specializes in umbrellas exporting, wholesaling, retailing and promotions.
1994 was a good year for Ming Kee Umbrellas, when it established its manufacturing operations in Fujian, China. The factory currently employs a workforce of more than 600 skilled personnel, capable of manufacturing more than 50,000 Dzn of different styles and models of high quality umbrellas per month for export.
Key responsibilities
