Liberty Bakes is looking for reliable and hardworking part-time assistants to join us during our festive baking period

Period: 14 October – 2 November 2026
Working Hours: 10:30am – 6:30pm
Break: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Paid Working Hours: 7 hours per day
Pay: $9-10/hour

Job Scope:

• Assist with baking and preparation of cookies
• Packing cookies and festive orders
• Sticking labels and preparing packaging
• Washing baking equipment and dishes
• Keeping the workspace clean and organised
• Simple administrative tasks
• Other general bakery assistance where required

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 certificate / Food Hygiene Certificate
• Able to commit from 14 October to 2 November 2026
• Responsible, punctual and reliable
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing hands-on work
• Good hygiene and cleanliness practices
• Baking or kitchen experience is an advantage
• Able to follow instructions and work independently when required

This is a temporary festive position for our Deepavali production period. Applicants with full availability is preferred, but open to felxibility.

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
