Job Overview:

Are you passionate about fine dining and exceptional customer service? Join our team at a premium Japanese Fine Dining Restaurant (pork-free and serves alcohol) as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. We are looking for a dedicated, dynamic individual who is ready to deliver an unforgettable dining experience and excellent team management skill.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory or managerial role in fine dining restaurants.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Japanese is a plus.

• Well-versed in managing restaurant operations.

• Customer-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Must be a local Malaysian or hold valid work authorization.

• You will be required to undergo training at Company's Kuala Lumpur outlet for a period of three (3) months.

• Assist General Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service, guest satisfaction and high standards.

• Support the General Manager in implementing and maintaining SOPs.

• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

• Lead, train and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional hospitality and uphold the restaurant's standards.

• Manage reservations, seating arrangements and customer inquiries to maintain an efficient flow of operations.

• Monitor inventory and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.

• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to ensure positive resolutions.

• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

• Schedule staff scheduling, performance review and recruitment when necessary.

• Manage staff attendance to maintain operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain consistency in food and service quality.

• Prepare reports on sales, staff performance and customer feedback for management review.

• Serve and handle alcoholic beverages responsibly as part of your role.
