Overview

Responsible for the reliability, performance, security and recoverability of database, caching and messaging platforms supporting business-critical services and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

· Own PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL and SQL Server platforms.

· Manage Kafka/MSK, Redis, DocumentDB and Couchbase environments.

· Maintain backup, recovery and disaster-recovery capabilities.

· Perform tuning, optimisation and capacity planning.

· Support schema migrations and database lifecycle management.

· Maintain encryption, auditing and access controls.

Required Experience

· PostgreSQL and SQL Server administration.

· AWS database services including RDS and Aurora.

· Kafka/MSK, Redis and NoSQL technologies.

· Linux administration and automation.

· Disaster recovery and high-availability environments.

Service Recovery Objectives

• Maintain tested recovery procedures supporting aggressive RPO and RTO targets for business-critical services.
• Core CompetenciesData integrity, ownership, troubleshooting, risk management and documentation.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per hour
