About the role

Provide second-level support for laptops,Windows software and local network connectivity. Work with users, first-line support and suppliers to resolve incidents and maintain dependable onsite IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve escalated laptop hardware, Windows operating-system and software problems.
• Install, configure, upgrade and trouble shoot approved Windows software and end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi and basic network-connectivity issues and coordinate complex cases with the relevant technical teams.
• Guide L1 support staff, keep incident records current and document fixes and recurring issues.
• Coordinate hardware repairs and supplier follow-up, including occasional approved smart-hands work such as disconnecting cables, removing faulty rack-mounted equipment and arranging repair shipments.
• Attend other Singapore locations when required, up to three trips per year, following site procedures.

Required skills and experience

• Strong practical knowledge of laptop hardware, Windows installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Good LAN, wireless and basic networking troubleshooting skills.
• Sound incident ownership,problem-solving, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite and perform the stated occasional local visits and equipment-handling tasks.

Preferred skills

Experience supporting an enterprise service desk or onsite IT team and coordinating hardware vendors.
