Role overview

Grow our client base in Singapore and Southeast Asia by winning new business, running the sales process through to closure, and then looking after those clients as their main relationship contact.

New business and lead generation

Create new business opportunities in Singapore and other Southeast Asian markets through cold calling, targeted outreach and executive networking

Present our corporate profile to prospects and explain the value of our software development, support and platform support services

Qualify the inbound leads from our lead generation team, then schedule and conduct in-person client visits

Focus on opportunities that fit our core business and technical capabilities

Sales process and pre-sales

Own the full sales cycle, from qualifying a lead and managing the pipeline to negotiating the contract and closing the deal

Keep the sales pipeline accurate and up to date, covering interactions, deal stages and forecasts

Attend every client meeting as the main link between the customer and our technical teams

Work with the pre-sales and marketing teams on tailored proposals, technical pitches and campaigns that address client needs

Account management and relationships

Become the client’s primary contact once they are onboarded

Build long-term relationships that support client satisfaction, retention and consistent service delivery

Find upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to grow revenue

Cross-border collaboration:
Work closely with the lead generation team, following up quickly on their leads and attending the in-person meetings they arrange in the region

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in technology sales or IT professional services sales, with experience in the Singapore market

Track record of selling software development services, application support, or cloud and platform support services

An established network of enterprise clients, IT managers, CTOs or CIOs in Singapore is a strong advantage

Excellent presentation, negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
