Job Summary
As a Motorcycle Delivery Rider, you will efficiently transport goods and documents using a motorcycle. You will pick up items from designated locations, ensure safe and timely delivery, maintain accurate records, and comply with traffic and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Pick up items, packages, or documents promptly from designated locations to meet delivery schedules
Safely operate a motorcycle to transport goods to specified destinations without damage or loss
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to reduce delivery time and increase productivity
Verify delivery instructions and addresses for accuracy before departure to ensure correct delivery
Communicate delivery status updates regularly with dispatchers or supervisors for coordination
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while riding the motorcycle
Conduct routine maintenance checks on the motorcycle to maintain safe and reliable operation
Accurately complete delivery-related paperwork, including receipts and confirmations
Provide courteous and timely customer service during deliveries to enhance customer satisfaction
Required competencies and certifications
Valid motorcycle driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Prior experience in delivery or courier services
Strong knowledge of local roads, streets, and neighborhoods
Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps to identify optimal routes
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Physical fitness and stamina to meet the demands of motorcycle delivery
Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery and documentation
Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
