About SSRV

SSRV (M) Sdn Bhd is a leading integrated property and facilities management service provider in Malaysia. We are looking for a qualified and responsible A1 Chargeman to support our facilities management operations at Exchange Square, Bukit Kewangan, Kuala Lumpur.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, carrying out electrical maintenance and ensuring safe, reliable and efficient building operations in accordance with statutory requirements and client service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain the building's electrical installations and distribution systems in accordance with applicable regulations and safety procedures.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical equipment and installations remain safe and operational.
• Perform troubleshooting and coordinate corrective maintenance for electrical faults, breakdowns and other technical issues.
• Ensure electrical maintenance activities comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements and other applicable statutory and safety regulations.
• Monitor electrical system performance and report abnormalities, potential hazards or equipment defects for prompt rectification.
• Coordinate electrical maintenance works with technicians, contractors and the facilities management team to minimise disruption to building operations.
• Maintain electrical maintenance records, inspection checklists, logbooks and relevant statutory documentation.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and monitor electrical consumption where required.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and implement appropriate safety measures to protect building occupants, equipment and property.
• Assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring smooth daily site operations and compliance with client requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a valid A1 Chargeman competency certificate recognised by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, building services or facilities management is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical installations, distribution systems, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures, statutory compliance and safe working practices.
• Able to identify electrical faults, respond to emergencies and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently as well as within a facilities management team.
• Candidates who are able to join immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
