Software Engineer – Rhino / Grasshopper | Python | IFC / OpenBIM

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic technology team and work on the development of custom software solutions involving computational design, geometry processing, and model-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom software components across various systems and applications.
• Develop scalable and high-performing solutions using modern software development frameworks and agile practices.
• Take ownership of assigned software components and ensure quality, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and deliver business-focused solutions.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective, innovative solutions.
• Support and mentor junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to key design and implementation decisions.

Must-Have Skills

• 5–8 years of relevant software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Rhino / Grasshopper development
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with IFC / OpenBIM standards and model processing
• Strong understanding of software engineering, application development, and software design

Good-to-Have Skills

• Speckle experience
• Experience in computational design, geometry processing, and automation workflows
• Experience with Node.js / React.js
• Experience working with BIM, 3D modelling, or AEC technology platforms

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of technical components, solve complex problems, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.

Contract: 12-month renewable contract

Location: Singapore

Experience: 5–8 years
