About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our Finance team on a 1-year contract basis. The successful candidate will support day-to-day finance operations, month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily finance and accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), invoice processing, and payment preparation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal postings, account reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation is filed and retained.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and service providers on finance-related matters.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within finance operations.
• Perform ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
