Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Singapore for a RF & Satellite Spectrum Monitoring Engineer (CSM), who is a technical specialist who bridges the gap between a our product capabilities and our customers' technical requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required
• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures and workplace rules
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as Interface control documents (ICD) and in general all types of technical document, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and professional correspondence
• Technical proficiency in the following areas:
• Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) principles
• Fundamental to advanced knowledge of databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Fundamental to advanced knowledge of programming languages and scripting
• Proficient in Linux and Windows operating environments
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised environments
• Fundamental to advanced knowledge of computer networking, including TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting and network troubleshooting
• Fundamental to advanced knowledge of computer hardware installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and ISO/IEC 27001 information security management systems, or other recognised cybersecurity standards, would be an advantage
• Experience with Singapore’s bizSAFE programme and applicable workplace safety and health requirements would be an advantage
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
• Fluency in English written and spoken is required
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in both written and spoken English
• Ability and willingness to travel and work effectively across different cultures
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional image
• Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Consistently demonstrate ability to take the initiative to make decisions/choices without direct supervision

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and ISO/IEC 27001 information security management systems, or other recognised cybersecurity standards, would be an advantage
• Experience with Singapore’s bizSAFE programme and applicable workplace safety and health requirements would be an advantage
