Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur for a Tax Associate. The Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing support on various tax-related matters. Key tasks include analyzing financial records, staying updated with changes in tax laws, assisting in tax audits, and advising on tax planning strategies. The role also involves collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation
• Proficiency in Tax, Tax Law, and Finance
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data accurately
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and colleague interaction
• Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
