Key responsibilities

Coordinate and implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programmes at project sites in accordance with Singapore regulations.

Conduct routine site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, MOM regulations, Code of Practice, and company safety procedures

Prepare, review, and update Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) documentation

Organise and conduct toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and safety briefings for employees and subcontractors

Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare investigation reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions

Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and clients on safety-related matters

Maintain accurate safety records, inspection reports, statutory registers, and other WSH documentation

Assist in emergency preparedness planning, drills, and the implementation of emergency response procedures

Promote a proactive safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety performance

Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements

Possess a valid WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH with a valid refresher certificate

Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience

Good knowledge of Singapore WSH, Singapore construction safety requirements, and MOM regulations

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
