Absolute Kinetics Consultancy (AKC) is a Singapore-based training provider delivering practical programmes across Workplace Safety, First Aid, Food Safety, and emerging areas like AI and Digital Marketing.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Developer to build and improve internal systems that support AKC’s operations, sales, and data workflows.
This role focuses on automation, internal tools, and real business applications of tech — from streamlining manual processes to building systems that support lead generation, reporting, and decision-making.
If you enjoy solving real problems and building tools that people actually use, this role will give you strong ownership and exposure.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design and develop internal tools to improve business workflows
Build automation scripts to reduce manual processes
Work on data collection systems (e.g. web scraping, structured data pipelines)
Develop simple dashboards or reporting tools for internal use
Integrate APIs and external tools into existing workflows
Maintain, debug, and improve existing systems
Collaborate with business teams to translate needs into technical solutions
Document systems and ensure maintainability
What You’ll Work On (Examples)
Lead generation and data scraping tools
Internal CRM / tracking systems
Automation for sales, marketing, and operations workflows
Data dashboards for performance tracking
AI-assisted tools for productivity and decision-making
Tech Stack (Flexible, Not Fixed)
Python (preferred for automation and scripting)
Web scraping tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium)
APIs and integrations
Excel / Google Sheets automation
Optional: JavaScript, basic frontend, or no-code tools
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
Strong foundation in programming (Python or similar)
Ability to think logically and solve problems independently
Comfortable working on practical, business-focused projects
Willingness to learn and adapt across different tools and systems
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

AKC is an Approved Training Organisation appointed by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to provide a wide range of courses approved by Ministry of Manpower (MOM), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC), & Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
Its clientele list includes SMEs to MNCs from various industrials ranging from construction, manufacturing, oil & gas to employment firms (Certificate of Employment Intermediaries for Key Appointment Holders & General Employees). The company is also an approved MOM SIP (Settling in Programme for Foreign Domestic Workers) training center and an approved Food Safety training provider.
AKC conducts workplace and health safety courses as its core business and also offers consultancy, risk management and other specialised training services such as certificate for employment intermediaries. It also has a team of around 100 professionals (comprising full time and part time trainers) skilled in various safety specialisations such as construction safety, scaffolding, shipyard safety, metalworking and welding, amongst others.
