This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced General Manager who can connect strategy with execution.

You'll oversee company-wide operations while working closely with the Board of Directors and senior management, strengthening financial performance, developing leaders and pursuing new projects and business opportunities.

Your Leadership Profile

• Mandarin speaker
• Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related discipline
• MBA is an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of progressive senior management experience
• Experience as a General Manager, Deputy GM, Operations Director or equivalent
• Construction, engineering or related industry experience is strongly preferred
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams
• Strong commercial and business-development mindset
• Good understanding of budgeting, cost control & financial performance
• Experience identifying opportunities and securing new projects
• Strong stakeholder and client-management capabilities
• Able to communicate effectively with Board-level stakeholders
• Strong analytical, decision-making & problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism

The Business Under Your Leadership

• Translate the company's vision and objectives into practical business plans while identifying emerging opportunities, risks and market developments.
• Oversee day-to-day business operations, improve efficiency and profitability, and ensure appropriate internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and secure new projects, contracts and strategic partnerships while developing new markets and strengthening business presence.
• Lead and develop the senior management team, establish clear accountability and build a performance-driven working culture.
• Act as a key connection between management and the Board of Directors while maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate policies, procedures and controls are implemented to protect the organisation's assets, operations and reputation.
• Take ownership of budgeting, cost management, financial reporting and overall business-performance monitoring.
