The Role

Analyst, Data Management, Operations

Key Accountabilities

• Be responsible for investment product data management, including product data collection, product setup and maintenance in internal systems, and monitoring product-related data processes;
• Collect product prices and market data, including mark-to-market data from internal and external sources, and perform system data update, maintenance and monitoring;
• Perform reconciliation of product and price data, and execute contingency procedures when required;
• Conduct counterparty core data checks, system setup and ongoing counterparty data maintenance;
• Assist in designing product and market data processes within internal systems, and work with the IT team to ensure the data architecture and infrastructure meeting business requirements;
• Conduct regular data quality checks, investigate and resolve data discrepancies, maintain the integrity of operational data, and ensure compliance with group data governance requirements;
• Identify opportunities to automate data processes and leverage technology and artificial intelligence, including AI and PRA, to improve product pricing and market data processes and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data maintenance;
• Support the integration of product and market data into the enterprise centralized data platform;
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing data processes.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline;
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience;
• Candidates with full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Familiar with financial data vendor terminals (e.g., Bloomberg) is an advantage;
• Experience in market products, mark-to-market valuation, and market data processing and maintenance is an advantage;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
