Our client is a Financial Institution, they are currently seeking for a Principal Investment Officer (Risk Management) – Infrastructure Financing & Securitisation (IFS) (VP / AVP) to join their team.
About the role
Shape and drive the risk management framework for large-scale infrastructure financing and securitisation portfolios. Lead high-impact credit evaluations, due diligence, and risk governance across complex project finance structures.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of Infrastructure Risk in driving the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the risk management framework, ensuring alignment with market positioning, business targets, and enterprise growth
Take charge of evaluating credit proposals, conducting due diligence, and delivering expert risk advice to the investment team and senior management throughout the deal investment process
Oversee the loan portfolio via periodic monitoring, early actions on credit deterioration, and comprehensive stress-testing exercises
Organize and manage Investment Committee meetings, materials, and decision-making workflows
Lead or conduct specialized research and strategic studies concerning business portfolio development from a risk governance perspective
Coach, guide, and develop junior members of the team
Provide critical risk support for the securitisation of infrastructure assets and new product innovations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, International Business, or Investment
At least 12 years of relevant experience gained within renowned institutional banks, institutional investors, or advisory firms, with a primary focus on infrastructure financing, advisory, or investment
Proven team leadership experience is essential; direct knowledge of securitisation is a distinct advantage
Strong commercial sense coupled with elite communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical capability paired with strong stakeholder management aptitude
Proven ability to handle complex transaction structures, intricate financial models, and documentation
