Role Description The Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Simpang Empat. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing local IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware to ensure stable and secure operations. The specialist will perform day-to-day tasks such as monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and access, and supporting connectivity between sites and manufacturing systems. They will provide technical support to internal users, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and escalate complex problems when needed. The role also includes implementing security best practices, assisting with backups and disaster recovery procedures, documenting configurations and processes, and collaborating with global IT teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Network Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and user-related issues in a timely manner.
• Candidates should possess broad Information Technology knowledge, covering servers, operating systems, end-user devices, and basic cloud or virtualization concepts.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementing firewalls, access controls, patching, and adherence to security policies.
• Relevant experience in an IT infrastructure or systems administration role within manufacturing or industrial environments is beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and basic IT documentation practices is advantageous.
