About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruitment Consultant / Team Leader - Recruitment - 360 Full Cycle to join AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage the complete recruitment lifecycle whilst demonstrating your expertise in talent acquisition and team leadership. As a Recruitment Consultant with team leadership responsibilities, you will be at the forefront of connecting exceptional candidates with outstanding career opportunities across diverse industries. Your strategic influence will extend beyond individual placements to include mentoring junior consultants and driving team performance.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in full cycle recruitment within a recruitment agency environment

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets and KPIs consistently

• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment law and industry compliance requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders

• Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent placements whilst maintaining quality standards

• Experience in team leadership or mentoring junior staff members

• Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment

• Knowledge of the Malaysian job market and various industry sectors is advantageous

• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; additional languages are a plus

Key responsibilities

• Managing the full recruitment cycle from initial client consultation through to candidate placement and onboarding

• Identifying, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates using multiple recruitment channels and methods

• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates across various sectors and skill levels

• Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates to ensure repeat business and referrals

• Presenting shortlisted candidates to clients and facilitating the interview and offer process

• Negotiating terms and conditions between clients and candidates to ensure successful placements

• Monitoring candidate performance post-placement and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction

• Leading, coaching and mentoring junior recruitment consultants within the team

• Setting performance targets and monitoring team KPIs to drive revenue and placement success

• Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic client partnerships

• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all recruitment activities within the system

• Contributing to the development of recruitment strategies and process improvements
