Role Description The Cashier role at QCC is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Cashier will handle daily payment processing, including receiving and recording cash, card, and electronic transactions accurately. Responsibilities include issuing receipts, reconciling cash drawers, preparing basic daily transaction reports, and ensuring that all payments comply with internal controls and relevant financial procedures. The role involves responding to customer or internal inquiries about payments, resolving discrepancies, and escalating issues where necessary. The Cashier will work closely with finance and operations teams to maintain accurate records and support smooth financial workflows.
Qualifications

• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for handling cash, card, and electronic transactions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of cashiering, invoicing, and payment reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and standard office software (e.g., Excel, accounting or billing systems).
• Effective communication and customer service skills to manage payment-related inquiries professionally.
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore and collaborate in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and adherence to internal controls and confidentiality requirements.
• Prior experience in a cashier, accounts assistant, or similar finance-related role is advantageous.
• Relevant certificate or diploma in accounting, finance, or business will be considered a plus.
