POSITION 1: Device42 Consultant

Salary: RM 8,000–10,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Device42 Consultant to manage infrastructure discovery, application dependency mapping, and IT asset management. The candidate will help maintain accurate infrastructure data and support enterprise IT transformation and migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer the Device42 platform.
• Perform automated discovery of servers, network devices, applications, databases, and infrastructure components.
• Configure discovery jobs, schedules, credentials, and integrations.
• Maintain accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records and application dependency maps.
• Identify and troubleshoot discovery failures and data inconsistencies.
• Generate infrastructure inventory reports and dependency mapping documentation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cloud, application, and ITSM teams.
• Support migration planning, technical workshops, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Device42 or similar discovery and dependency mapping tools.
• Knowledge of CMDB, IT asset management, and IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking, databases, and middleware.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, APIs, scripting, and cloud environments is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
