岗位职责

Help build the HR function behind a growing group of consumer brands.

If you enjoy hands-on HR work and want the opportunity to improve how things are done, this role offers room to take ownership.

As Atomic Group’s first dedicated HR hire, you’ll bring together people processes currently handled across the leadership team. From recruitment and onboarding to payroll coordination, employee records, and performance reviews, you’ll help make HR more organised, consistent, and dependable.

You’ll work directly with the COO and closely with leadership, brand teams, and Finance. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports at present, offering scope to take on broader responsibility as the company grows.

Employment: Full-time, hybrid
Location: Bandar Menjalara, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate recruitment from advertisement to offer. Manage hiring for approved roles, screen applications, arrange interviews, keep candidates informed, and track hiring progress.
  • Make onboarding and offboarding run smoothly. Prepare employment documentation, coordinate equipment and access with the relevant teams, and ensure joining and exit formalities are completed.

  • Coordinate payroll and statutory administration. Check monthly payroll inputs and work with Finance or the payroll provider on timely processing and submissions for EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
  • Maintain reliable employee records. Keep personnel files, leave records, payroll documentation, and other HR information complete, organised, and confidential.
  • Keep probation and appraisal cycles on track. Coordinate review schedules, issue templates, follow up with managers, and document outcomes and agreed actions.
  • Support fair and well-documented employee processes. Assist leadership with performance and disciplinary matters, including correspondence, show-cause letters, and records of proceedings.

  • Work directly with leadership. Partner with the COO and gain exposure to hiring, workforce planning, and people decisions across the group.
  • Own a broad HR scope. Apply your generalist experience across the employee lifecycle and develop deeper operational judgment.
  • Grow with the function. Take on broader people responsibilities as the business and HR needs expand.
  • Work in a hybrid arrangement, based in Bandar Menjalara, Kepong.
