Salary: RM2,800 – RM4,000 per month (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including 1-hour break)
Working Days: 5.5 days per week

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales & Marketing Staff to join our catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, handling customer enquiries, promoting our catering services, and supporting the team in achieving sales targets.

1. Sales & Business Development

• Generate new sales leads through online platforms, social media, WhatsApp, phone calls, networking, and referrals.
• Identify and approach potential customers, including corporate companies, event organisers, wedding planners, schools, offices, and private customers.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and potential customers to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business growth.

2. Customer Service & Enquiry Handling

• Respond to customer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, email, and social media in a professional and timely manner.
• Understand customers' requirements, including event date, number of guests, venue, budget, menu, and setup requirements.
• Prepare and send quotations, menus, packages, and other relevant information to customers.
• Follow up with customers and assist them throughout the booking process until confirmation.
• Handle customer feedback and coordinate with the operations team when necessary.

3. Marketing Activities

• Promote the company's catering services, menus, packages, and promotional campaigns.
• Assist in managing social media platforms and creating simple marketing content.
• Support marketing campaigns, festive promotions, corporate promotions, wedding packages, and other sales activities.
• Build partnerships and networking opportunities with event venues, event planners, wedding planners, property agents, and other potential business partners.
• Assist in organising food tasting sessions, promotional events, exhibitions, and other marketing activities.

4. Sales Administration & Coordination

• Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, follow-ups, confirmed orders, and sales activities.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team to ensure confirmed orders are properly communicated.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding payments when required.
• Ensure all customer requirements and event details are properly recorded and communicated to the relevant departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service, or a related field.
• Experience in the catering, F&B, events, hospitality, or service industry will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers through WhatsApp, phone calls, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Positive attitude, hardworking, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good follow-up and time-management skills.
• Able to handle multiple enquiries and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and basic marketing is an advantage.
• Able to work 5.5 days per week and attend events or marketing activities when required.
