Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer (L2) to provide application and production support for business-critical applications. The role will involve troubleshooting production issues, managing incidents, supporting deployments and working closely with development, infrastructure and business teams to maintain application availability and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application and production support for business-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes and coordinate resolution within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor application availability, performance and stability.
• Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with L1 support, developers, infrastructure teams and other stakeholders on escalated issues.
• Perform SQL queries, data validation, data fixes and troubleshooting using MSSQL / SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot applications running on AWS, including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Analyse application and server logs and troubleshoot issues in Linux/Unix environments.
• Support Node.js and React.js based applications.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, microservices and containerised applications.
• Support application deployments, releases and environment-related issues.
• Participate in Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and support procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to L1 support teams where required.
• Participate in an on-call / production support rotation when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Application Support / Production Support.
• Strong experience in L2 Application Support.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong knowledge of MSSQL / SQL Server and SQL troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS, preferably EC2, ECS, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Experience supporting REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Docker / containers.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
• Experience with ITSM / ITIL processes.
• Strong understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting application deployments.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidates must be currently based in Singapore.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
