About Us

ArenaMalaysia.Asia is a sports media platform covering the people, stories and communities behind sport, particularly running, cycling and triathlon. Our approach is documentary-driven: capturing real moments, genuine emotions and stories beyond the results.

We’re looking for a junior videographer who can also shoot photos and handle basic video editing. If you enjoy sports, have an eye for storytelling and want to develop your skills through real assignments, we’d love to see your work.

What You’ll Do

• Shoot video and photographs at sporting events, athlete training sessions, interviews and brand assignments.
• Capture action, atmosphere, behind-the-scenes moments and the people who bring sport to life.
• Produce basic video edits for Instagram Reels, TikTok and other digital platforms, including clean cuts, basic colour correction, audio adjustments and subtitles.
• Select and make basic adjustments to photographs for publication.
• Organise, back up and hand over footage and photographs clearly.
• Work with our producers and editors to follow creative briefs and develop ArenaMalaysia.Asia’s documentary storytelling style.
• Meet agreed deadlines and communicate consistently while working from home.

Who We’re Looking For

• A genuine interest in sports. Familiarity with running, cycling or triathlon is an advantage—you don’t need to be an athlete.
• Basic practical skills in videography and photography, including framing, exposure and focus.
• Basic video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent.
• An eye for meaningful moments and a willingness to learn.
• Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Availability for on-location shoots, including early mornings, weekends and outstation assignments when required.
• Fresh graduates and junior creatives with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.

Equipment & Working Arrangement

• Work from home for editing, footage management and other tasks; attend on-location assignments as scheduled.
• Your own camera setup suitable for video and photography is required for solo assignments. Please include your equipment list when applying.
• A computer and external hard drive will be provided.
• Company camera equipment will be available when shooting together with the team.

What We Offer

• Starting salary of RM2,600 per month, with the offer based on experience and portfolio.
• Work-from-home flexibility around scheduled shoots and agreed deadlines.
• Guidance from an experienced sports journalism and production team.
• Opportunities to cover athletes, sporting events and sports brand projects.
• Hands-on experience developing documentary storytelling skills.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV, video portfolio or showreel, photography samples and camera equipment list to ************* Include your current location, expected salary and earliest available start date.

• Tell us briefly which sports you follow or participate in, and why you’d like to join ArenaMalaysia.Asia.
