Site Safety Supervisor (DOSH Yellow Book Holder)

Job Type : Full-Time / Starting 1 year Contract

Salary Range RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 / month (Depending on experience & project scope)

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Enforcement: Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and DOSH regulations.
• Inspection & Audits: Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments (HIRARC).
• Toolbox Briefings: Lead daily toolbox meetings and safety awareness sessions for site workers and subcontractors.
• Incident Investigation: Investigate and report site incidents, near-misses, or unsafe acts, implementing immediate corrective actions.
• Documentation & Coordination: Maintain updated safety records, site safety logs, and coordinate closely with Safety & Health Officers (SHO) and Project Managers.

Requirements

• Certification: Must possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) Certificate registered with DOSH / JKKP.
• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on safety supervision experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Industrial, ELV& ICT or M&E projects.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with DOSH requirements and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures. (AGT / Authorized Gas Tester cert is an added advantage).
• Languages: Proficient in BM to communicate effectively with workers and management.
• Attributes: Strong leadership, firm enforcement ability, and high vigilance toward safety risks.
