Job Summary

Support teaching and laboratory activities by preparing materials and equipment, maintaining learning environments, and providing administrative assistance to ensure smooth educational operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare teaching materials, learning resources, and equipment to support lessons and practical assessments effectively
• Assist teachers in setting up science laboratories and facilitating classroom activities and practical learning sessions
• Maintain cleanliness and order of department rooms, learning areas, equipment, and inventory records to ensure readiness and safety
• Perform data entry and prepare departmental documents to support administrative functions
• Coordinate and assist with school events, departmental activities, and other assigned administrative duties to ensure smooth execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum post-secondary qualification or equivalent
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to complete administrative and documentation tasks
• Good communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills to collaborate effectively and meet deadlines
• Preferably 3 years of experience in school administration or science-related laboratory work to contribute relevant expertise
• Experience in event coordination or logistics support to enhance school activities management
• Ability to use AI tools is an added advantage to improve work efficiency

Other Information

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8 hours daily, excluding a 1-hour lunch break
• Reporting hours: Within 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (exact shift timings to be determined by the school)
