My client is a global bank, a leading global asset servicer and custody provider. As of mid-2026, the bank ranks as the largest European global custodian and the fifth-largest globally. The Business Implementation, Change Management & Transformation Office is responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding of new clients and coordinating transition-related activities, such as fund launches, terminations, and restructurings, for existing clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Project Manager / Client Implementation Manager

Main Responsibilities

The Client Implementation team is responsible for the following:

• End-to-end coordination of new client onboarding for Singapore Branch services.
• Coordination of transition-related activities for existing clients, including fund launches, terminations, and restructuring.
• Coordinating the process of global securities services new account opening, modification, service extension, and closure.
• Liaising with 3rd Party Asset Managers (AMs) in some cases, providing customer details to the teams involved in the setup process (which includes LCN, cash account, global securities account set up, tax, and network).
• Establishing project governance with internal business units for coordination, planning, and tracking.
• Driving regular strategic client meetings, documenting and understanding the onboarding and transition activities timelines, deliverables, requirements, and key dependencies.
• Tracking activities to closure and escalating where necessary.
• Ensuring that all account and markets opening documentation is in place for setup on services requested by the client.
• Ensuring complete documentation for implementation sign-off, audit, and control.
• Conducting post-Implementation reviews (PIR) to document findings and issues to ensure continuous improvement and promote team learning.
• Ensuring close collaborations with internal stakeholders (specifically Client Delivery, Client Development, Sales, and Relationship Managers) to manage pipeline, resourcing, and project handovers.
• Collaborating with new and existing external custodians, investment managers, and other third parties.

Main Requirements:

• Good understanding in Securities Services & Financial Markets products.
• Prior experience in the role of Project Manager / Client Implementation for more than 5 years of working experience in the banking / asset management domain with strong project management background, ability to drive agendas, meetings, assign tasks for ownerships
• Strong self-starter with initiative, accountability and ability to work independently as well as collaborate within the client delivery function.
• Natural collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies.
• Pro-stakeholders’ success with excellent interpersonal communications, presentation, documentation and negotiation skills
