About the role

Our client is a fast-growing, innovative global creative brand and product studio specializing in pop-culture collectibles, art toys, and licensed character products. Known for pushing the boundaries of physical toy design, they combine cutting-edge artistry with precision engineering to bring iconic visual concepts to life. We are seeking an exceptionally fast, proactive, and accountable 3D Toy Designer to drive the physical realization of our collectible toy lines. In this role, you will craft high-precision 3D digital sculpts while taking complete ownership of project workflows from initial concept and tooling feasibility to vendor coordination and final production delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Translate 2D visual concepts, character art, and turnarounds into highly detailed, production-ready 3D models (both organic and hard-surface sculpting)

• Take full accountability for assigned projects, maintaining strict project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring quality benchmarks are met

• Design key-split models, articulation joints, establish tolerance standards, and prepare digital files for prototyping, 3D printing, and mass-production tooling

• Work at a fast pace to deliver high-quality 3D assets, rapid prototypes, and revisions without compromising artistic standards

• Coordinate directly with manufacturing partners and mainland/overseas factories to resolve technical production bottlenecks, review engineering samples (T0/T1), and approve final output

About you

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional 3D sculpting and design experience within the toy, collectible, figurine, or animation industries

• Expert proficiency in ZBrush, Rhino / SolidWorks, and key rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot)

• Hands-on familiarity with 3D printing workflows

• Proven ability to work fast, take end-to-end ownership of projects, and manage tight delivery deadlines

• Solid understanding of plastic injection molding, rotocasting, resin casting, articulation mechanics, and paint application techniques

• Highly proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced creative studio environment
