Lesson Planning:
Create clear, age-appropriate lesson plans and learning materials aligned with the school curriculum for English (reading, writing, grammar) and Maths (numbers, problem-solving, equations).
Teaching & Engagement:
Deliver interactive lessons that build critical thinking, active participation, and independent learning skills.
Assessment & Tracking:
Design quizzes, tests, and assignments, grade student performance accurately, and keep clear records of progress.
Student Support:
Identify individual learning needs and offer extra guidance or targeted support for students who need help.
Communication:
Update parents on student development during regular discussions and parent-teacher meetings. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree
Skills:
Strong communication, patience, classroom management, and a solid grasp of primary or secondary curricula.
Experience:
Prior teaching or tutoring experience is commonly preferred. [1, 2, 3]
