About the Role
As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new products and processes that drive our company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the mechanical R&D design of X-ray equipment projects, including mechanical design, engineering drawings, and preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Identify and resolve mechanical and technical issues arising during project development and engineering implementation, and perform design review, verification, and standardization of mechanical designs prepared by other team members.
- Prepare, review, organize, update, and maintain mechanical design documentation and technical deliverables, ensuring proper document control and archiving. Support R&D project certification and acceptance activities.
- Provide technical support throughout equipment assembly, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure the equipment meets design and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with Product and Sales teams during the early stages of projects to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions, mechanical design proposals, and relevant technical documentation.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or Department Head
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience of non-standard equipment design experience in 3C, new energy and other related industries
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, mechanical design methods, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Pro-E, AutoCAD, CAXA, or other relevant CAD software.
- Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their working principles.
- Hands-on mechanical design experience is essential, with proven ability to independently develop mechanical designs and engineering solutions.
- Strong integrity, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

- Position based in Kuala Lumpur. Fully onsite.
