SUMMARY
The Excavator Operator operates heavy machinery to load, move, and manage waste materials at company facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant waste handling to support daily operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operational Duties
Operate excavators and heavy machinery to load waste into trucks, containers, or bins.
Handle general waste, construction debris, recyclables, and other materials.
Sort, segregate, and move waste per company and regulatory guidelines.
Assist in loading, unloading, stockpiling, and compacting waste on-site.
Support ground crew in daily site operations.
2. Equipment Care & Maintenance
Conduct daily pre-operation checks to ensure safe and proper function.
Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
Immediately report equipment faults, breakdowns, or damage to the supervisor.
Ensure proper shutdown procedures and secure storage after use.
3. Safety & Compliance
Strictly adhere to workplace safety procedures, environmental regulations, and guidelines.
Ensure safe excavator operation at all times to prevent accidents or damage.
Report safety hazards, near misses, or accidents immediately to management.
Maintain site cleanliness and prevent environmental contamination.
4. Reporting & Communication
Maintain accurate daily activity logs, equipment usage records, and documentation.
Report completed tasks, equipment issues, and challenges to the Site Supervisor.
Communicate effectively with team members for smooth workflow and timely completion.
Provide feedback for process improvements and site efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Singapore excavator operator license
Good knowledge of excavator operations, maintenance, and safety protocols
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
Familiarity with waste handling, sorting and disposal procedures
