岗位职责

We are representing a globally recognized leader in advanced materials, component manufacturing, and precision engineering solutions. Operating across international markets, our client delivers critical components and high-precision processing technologies to high-tech sectors, including advanced manufacturing and industrial engineering.

The Process Engineer will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for precision metal products. Working cross-functionally across Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, and R&D, this individual ensures operations remain efficient, cost-effective, and fully aligned with global quality and safety standards.

the job.

Process Design & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop, scale, and optimize manufacturing processes for metal products, covering casting, forging, machining, and surface/heat treatment.
  • Create and update process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce scrap, optimize cycle times, and improve overall productivity.
  • Conduct root cause investigations (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for operational bottlenecks.

Production Monitoring & Quality Assurance

  • Monitor critical process parameters and operational metrics to maintain tight process window controls.
  • Leverage Statistical Process Control (SPC) and production data analytics to identify variation and improvement trends.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure output meets strict customer specifications and international standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain robust process control plans; support internal and external quality audits.

Equipment, Safety & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day technical troubleshooting support for production lines and support maintenance teams during equipment escalations.
  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing systems and machinery.
  • Enforce workplace safety, conduct risk assessments/audits, and ensure compliance with environmental and industrial safety standards.
  • Plan and deliver technical training, SOP workshops, and mentorship for operators and junior engineering staff.
  • Manage end-to-end engineering improvement projects—overseeing project timelines, cross-department coordination, and deliverables.

the experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on process engineering experience, specifically within the metal manufacturing or precision machining industry.
    • Solid working knowledge of metal processing methods (casting, forging, machining, heat treatment, surface finishing).
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
    • Proficiency in CAD software and standard engineering analysis tools.
  • Soft Skills & Competencies:
    • Demonstrated track record as a proactive change agent capable of driving operational transformation.
    • Strong root-cause analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Clear cross-functional communication and collaborative stakeholder management skills.
