Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead business growth, identify new market opportunities and establish strong relationships with clients in the engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities, projects and potential clients.

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company revenue targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, consultants, contractors and business partners.

Source and evaluate new projects, tenders and contract opportunities.

Prepare business proposals, quotations, tender submissions and commercial presentations.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.

Negotiate commercial terms and secure new contracts.

Monitor project pipelines, sales performance and business development activities.

Work closely with the management, project and finance teams to achieve company objectives.

Prepare regular business development reports for senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 15 years of relevant business development experience.

Experience in the engineering, construction or related industry will be an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Singapore's construction market and tendering processes.

Proven track record in securing new business and developing client relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.

Good leadership, analytical and strategic planning abilities.
