Relevant working experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar senior kitchen position.

Experience in Japanese cuisine, sushi, or restaurant operations is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Good leadership and team management skills.

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsible, organised, and able to maintain consistent food quality.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations.

Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes, presentation, and quality standards.

Supervise, guide, and coordinate the kitchen team.

Monitor food preparation, portion control, and kitchen workflow.

Manage inventory, ingredients, stock levels, and food wastage.

Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.

Coordinate with the restaurant management and service team to ensure smooth operations.

Train and develop kitchen team members.

Assist with menu planning and continuous improvement of food quality.
