岗位职责
Clean, maintain and store haemodialysis equipment in accordance with established safety and infection-control procedures.
Ensure that dialysis supplies and equipment are adequately stocked, available and ready for use.
Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment within the dialysis centre.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver haemodialysis treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
Perform needling of arteriovenous (AV) fistulas and AV grafts for haemodialysis access, within the scope of clinical competency and authorisation.
Check dialysis machines and related equipment before, during and after each treatment to ensure they are safe and fully functional.
Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surfaces, worktables and dialysis chairs after each use, following infection-prevention procedures.
Monitor and document patients’ vital signs throughout treatment and promptly report abnormalities to the nurse in charge or attending doctor, as appropriate.
Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during patient assessments, examinations and treatment procedures.
Perform other reasonable nursing-related duties as assigned by the Head Nurse.
