REQUIREMENTS:

• Recognized Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil construction.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Project and Autocad will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in both verbal and written Bahasa Malaysia, English and/or Mandarin.
• Strong site supervision and project coordination experience.
• Good understanding of construction methods, drawings and specifications.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel/work at project sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Monitoring of work progress and quality control.
• Plan and co-ordinate site activities with site staffs.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors and nominated Sub-Contractors.
• Support operation superintendent supervisors to motivate, train, counsel and discipline employees.
• Liaise with JKR Engineers / Resident Engineer / Consultant Engineer / Clerk of Work on technical matters.
• Arrange site inspection, counter check alignment and level by Surveyor.
• Check discrepancy between structure and architecture drawing and issue RFI.
• Attending all client and consultant meetings.
• Work with QAQC Engineer for the arrangements of Quality control tests at site.
• Help UHO in order to run all projects according to the programmed work schedule.
• Be responsible to take site photographs.
• Shift operators from site to site whenever needed (during absence of MWD arrangement).
• Other task to be assigned by immediate superior(s) deemed necessary.
