Professional Job Description

We are seeking a Marine Engineer to support the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical management of marine vehicles and equipment. You will conduct research, prepare technical reports, diagnose issues, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and tests to inform the design and construction of marine vehicles and equipment.
• Prepare technical reports including research, systems diagnostics, and design analysis documentation.
• Perform maintenance on marine vehicles and equipment.
• Investigate and diagnose technical issues and implement effective repairs.
• Support engineering processes covering mechanical, electrical, and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant maritime standards and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant engineer licence (e.g., USCG or equivalent) preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a marine engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, SOLIDWORKS).
• Knowledge of maritime software such as HMI and PLC control systems.
• Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and naval construction processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and physical fitness for the role.
